Description: Dear Sir/Ma\'am,
I am interested in talking with you about this project.
Our products are three flavors of energy bars . They are sold in boxes of 12. The price is $48 per box.
We wish to sell these bars world wide. They are a special kind of bar, for a special kind of audience who are located in America, Canada, Europe, Australia.
We currently have a flash site located at www.sessionbar.com .
We also have a \"rent-a-site\" at trustedfaces884.corecommerce.com .
When the person clicks \"Order\" the flash site will be connected to a non-Flash e-commerce interface .
The rent-a-site is used now and currently shows the bars and has the shopping cart and secure credit card ordering, shipping calculation, and inventory management , with an auto-responder to the user for incoming orders.
However, we are looking to have our own version of the rent-a-site.
The following are the requirements:
Front end with:
Customer logon / password
Customer profile
Customer order history
Customer last shopping cart
Shopping cart interface
Shipping and Tax calcs
Credit card processing connection
Admin screen to view pending orders, status of orders,
shipping interface to update status of orders,
auto responder for acknowledging orders/send receipts, and notification of shipping.
Extract/or collect email addresses for a monthly newsletter.
Update information on the page without loading a new page
In essence, it is a simple Apache / MySql / PHP application.
It can be made clever with PDO, Ajax, etc. Our major interest is workable e-commerce, user friendly interface, and close to instant deployment.
A copy of the code will be placed on a remote Linux box, with Apache and MySql installed. We will need to work with you to make ongoing modifications as necessary at the agreed upon hourly rate.
The important areas are 1) Honest and definite speed of deployment for a complete system 2) price point and trustworthiness for ongoing programming to modify the site as needed. 3) Being able to reach you.
Please respond with:
1) Specific details of what will be done, and communicate what will not happen, so as not to leave any area of uncertainty or misunderstanding.
2) Please include job bid and your hourly rate for future modifications.
Most Sincerely & Respectfully,
Jason Oliver
